"Dance with Me" is a song by American R&B singer Debelah Morgan, composed by Morgan and music producer Giloh Morgan. Released in the year 2000, it was the first single produced from Morgan's third studio album of the same name. Its protagonist declares that she only wants to dance with her lover that night. "Dance with Me" peaked at #8 on the Billboard Singles Chart on December 26, 2000 (after reaching the Top 40 on October 3), and has been added to many hit compilation albums. "Dance with Me" received international acclaim including a special Walt Disney version and a Spanish version "Baila Conmigo." Morgan's "Dance With Me" was based on "Hernando's Hideaway" written by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross. Their tango-style song is why Addler and Ross are given writers credits.
